At KIDZ FIRST, our aim is for children to develop the ability to respect the views and opinions of every child regardless of their religious or cultural backgrounds. We aim to achieve these through:

- Working alongside staff, children and parents to provide positive attitudes and experiences for all children in the nursery.

- Providing a stimulating learning environment opportunities for children to access a well balanced educational curriculum based on play both indoor and out.

- Teaching Christian songs and bible stories that would encourage children to learn the fundamentals of living as Christian children.

- Providing a happy and caring environment giving respectful physical care to each child.

- Creating a warm, secure setting where a child feels loved, is able to develop confidence and independence within him/her.

- Valuing each child as an individual who has the right to be treated equally with regard to religious persuasion, racial origin, special needs and cultural background without racial or gender stereotyping.

- Encouraging communication between all participants in nursery life, helping children learn to express their feelings & share with others. Ensuring that adults within the nursery communicate their love & respect for the children in all their actions.
